The BreezeWay is an important part of the Henceroth household of Salem; not so much the house part as the hold, the progeny part.

Jesse and Royal Henceroth, the twin sons of one of Salem’s most proficient and prolific performers, Bill “The Professor” Henceroth, formed The BreezeWay in 1996 with their friend Jared Lawrence. They moved to Portsmouth, Ohio in 2000, and then on to Nashville, in 2004, and along the way have raised the level of family musical achievement.

Bill Henceroth plays guitar and bass and sings solo, in duets, trios and with the Mark Scheuring Band, currently playing open mics three nights a week (see the JamBrain Events calendar).

The BreezeWay is an alternative rock band, performing electronically and acoustically. Jesse Henceroth plays drums, vox and harmonica, Royal sings and plays guitar and keys, and Jared Lawrence plays bass and keys and sings. Their music reflects all their influences, from Johnny Cash and Lou Reed, to The Ramones and the Foo Fighters.
