"Through the Fire"

Through the fire
I rise through the flames
Once you feel it
Your never the same

My light sparks
Through thick and thin
Your mind passes
My forces begin

(Chorus)
Rising through the flames
The fire burns the same
Can you rise through*
THE FLAMES
(end chorus)

The torch passes
But never returns
The scars deep
With fire that burns

My souls on fire
Eternal it spurns
With dark forces
Once seperate
Together as one

(chorus)

don't spare my life
Don't take me out
Fires raging in my mind
Without a cloud of doubt

So I rise through
I will rise through
I will find a way
To defeat you*
To see you*
Through(THROUGH THE FIRE)

(chorus)

...and the flames...

This post was hardly constructive and it served no point, so it doesn't have any place here. Go read the rules.

It seems too forced. Don't worry about rhyming, also jumping from thing to thing, it's hard to understand the meaning. I love some parts but it is really choppy at times.

I agree with acidhendrix on it being too forced. Instead of just using rhyming to help the flow, you seemed to use it almost to the point that it is the basis of your lyrics.

Im sorry, I just don't see how you could argue that hardcore isn't metal. That just seems arrogant to me.

Yes, its its own kind of metal, but its still metal.

I like it. Especially the second verse. I like the rhyming in it.

Crit mine?

that wasnt very good criticism. At least make an entire paragraph about what you didnt like and liked, and then asked for a c4c? Shun the non believer!
