No, not bands that play in B standard, but bands that use 7 strings. I just got a new one and I'd like to utilize the B string.
My gear
Ibanez RG7321
Jackson Warrior WRXT *FS/FT*
Jasmine J35
Squier Fender P-Bass
Ibanez TBX150H
Crate 4x12

Jeff Loomis tends to play a seven, both solo and with Nevermore. Although he tends to drop his tunings down half a step.

As will Vai on occasion.

I'll add Blotted Science and Scar Symmetry, particularly. Then there's Scale The Summit, After the Burial and Spawn of Possession.
In terms of jazz, John and Bucky Pizzarelli are great, as well as Howard Alden.

Still, I'd recommend learning when to utilize the low B for range and particular circumstance, rather than playing standard six string ideas a fourth lowers (the main reason I mentioned the Pizzarellis and Alden).
