Yo Pit

I'm in the mood for sharing (and hearing) some musical nostalgia.

What are some good songs from the 90's that we all grew up with that either;

-Everybody knows

or

-Everybody has heard, but doesn't know the name of.

Here are the main ones I can think of

New Radicals - you get what you give
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91WgM6dNLTE

Third Eye Blind - Semi charmed-life
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeyofN_LZnA

Barenaked ladies - One week
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRiF_THZTYI

All 3 are songs that I must have heard hundreds of times throughout my childhood, but didn't actually find it what they were until around a year ago.

I remember the days like that. Asking the DJ to put on Bloodhound Gang and Blink 182 for nostalgia's sake.

Also, good cool on Two Princes, I haven't listened to that in ages.

I made a playlist on my iTunes the other day that included all the music I used to hear on Triple M in the late 90's.
They used to play a hell of a lot of Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins and such. Sort of a shame now...still good though.
