Right so heres the story, ive got some Single coils in a new strat and im upgrading the pups and was thinking of upping the pots from 250k to 500k, what id like to know is what are the main sound differences by upping the pots??

it'll definitely be brighter sounding, i had 500k pots on my strat when it still had singles in it and it was pretty bright sounding, though not too bad
