Hey guys.

I was wondering,

If I removed the mesh from my cabinet so you could see the speakers in the back with the steel grille kept in place for protection, would there be any change in sound?

Is the Mesh really necessary?
Would it affect the speakers in a negative way over time?

I basically wanna know if this would be a good or a bad Idea.

Your speakers get way more dusty without mesh, and its a pain in the ass keep taking the grille of to clean them.
Talking about fapping to films!!

It may have an effect on tone, Eddie did it back with van halen, and some people tried to replicate that and said it sounded bad, but his gear was different, so, try it, you can probably put it back on if it sounds bad.

Reverb? We're talking about the Mesh on the front of the cab that covers the speakers.
