I'm making a guitar, but I need a little advice since I'm a newbie at this. I'm trying to find a neck, but I'm not sure what kind of wood I should look for for the fretboard. All the guitars I've had in the past have had rosewood fretboards, but I'm having trouble finding a neck with one. What other kind of wood would be good for the fretboard? I don't want to go and buy something and then find out the wood sucks. Thanks in advance.

the main fretboard woods are maple rosewood and ebony, and then some comanies make composite ones

The most popular fretboard woods are rosewood, ebony, and maple. Most people think ebony is the best, but I think they don't make a huge difference in either playability or sound.
