i'm looking for something compact/portable i can use through headphones.

i was looking at the vox amplugs but i have an ibanez S, and those don't seem to fit

i heard about the waves igtr, but the reviews weren't too great

i know that what i want can also be achieved through some multi-effects processors.
one i keep hearing about is the line 6 pod but those are out of my budget.

So, my question is, what do you all recommend? I'd like to keep the budget under $100 USD and preferably less

Honestly, the best headphone amps by far are the vox amplugs. Sad thoguh that they can't fit in the ibanez.

If portability isn't an issue then I'd go for a multi-fx, take a look at the Digitech RPs or the Line 6 pods, you can probably find the smaller ones used for under $100.

You could get a few connectors like a big to small, then a small to big and it will fit just fine.

Pandora PX4D is the way to go. The amPlugs are nice (I have the AC30 and Classic), but the PX4D is a full multifx with drum and bass patterns. 3x the price of the amPlug, but if you buy 1 amPlug then you'll be thinking you need another since they are one trick ponies. The PX4D has some great synth tones as well.

edit: This is the best new price ($130 incl shipping)
