So I got some new strings, and now that I put them on, the whole bridge is sticking up (or is bent upwards.. I don't know how to describe it), and the strings are much higher above the fretboard than I'd like. How do I fix this? And what tools will I need to fix it? Also, the strings seem much harder to bend, but I think they're a bigger gauge of string, so is that probably why?
Thanks.

Bigger gauge means greater string tension. You can pull the bridge downwards by tightening its screws in the back. You'll have to open it up in the back though.
