The Digitech Bad Monkey is supposed to be a good, if not excellent copy. Another worth looking at which I didn't like is the BBE Green Screamer, and one that I did, the Visual Sound Route 66.

maybe the TS wont fit that sound but i dont know a lot about OD, i been playing straight to amp for 2 years

I don't know how much they are over there but you could look for a secondhand Maxon OD808, they made TS808, Ibanez just bought it. They're much cheaper and a much better pedal, hope I helped.

The Bad Monkey is a good choice if you basically intend to use it for clean boosting with little to no gain from the pedal.

I'm pretty sure the SL-X will get more than enough gain for thrash. The SL-Xes were basically made to compete with Mesa's Rectifier series.

not take this for granted eh? lacks a real solo channel, just a volume boost so an OD will be awsome for solo stuff

The Maxon OD808 is 111 eur on Thomann.de's Spanish Store. I'd save up a bit if you've decided this is what you really want. My recommendation of the Bad Monkey still stands, it's an excellent booster.

thanks a lot Raijouta, I'll test tomorrow the Bad monkey and try to invest the biyang, Modtone and BBE, cos i cant really invest for a 120 euros OD since I need more pedals like a tuner and a EQ ( ****.... the SV does have tuner on the footswitch )

could buy an MXR M-108 as an EQ pedal and use it as your boost, it has copious amounts of boost. Just a thought.

As an overall volume boost, I'd recommend this, but the EQ part of the pedal might not even be necessary. The 'gain' slider on the M-108 doesn't make things more br00t4l, it controls the strength of the input signal. In all that would be a poor choice when all the OP wants for this situation would be an overdrive pedal.

so the 2 pedal combo will be better, I dont usually use pedals, but with this amp i think I'll need 3 for versatility:
EQ
OD
and a tuner...

that was my thought, no real point to the kk one, less you really like the graphics. does push a little more gain. That's about it, but it gets to the point that the gain is unusable.

only mentioned it cause he said he was getting an eq anyway, put it infront of his 900 and it will drive it harder, or put it in the effects loop and use it as a volume boost, your call.
