Can someone tell me what the best solution is to record a 3 piece band (bass guitar and drum) so you can mix the different channels , if the bass is too loud you can change the volume without changing the guitar and drums.
I would like to know what would be the best /cheap things that we need .
A mixer or something but I 've seen some of these cost over 1000€ so what are some cheaper ones.
I know the cheapest way to record is just put a mic in the middle of the room but then you can't change the induvidual volumes of the instruments.
I need to know what the minimum cost would be to do this and what products we should use.

are absolutely adament on recording the drums? or would programming them be enough as well? I program the drums for my music (see sig) and it sounds better than anything you'll get without spending thousands of bucks. Bass and guitar you can record with a simple USB interface, I'd suggest the TonePort UX1 from Line6 (costs about 70, 80 bucks)
