Looked in the search bar and the closest thing I found was a best bands thread. Not sure I trust the search results because I doubt that I'm the first one to think of this, but hey you never know. If this thread already exists then I'm sorry.

So I was checking out Pearl Jam's new Backspacer album when I read a comment claiming it was the best album of the 2000s. I definitely do not agree, but it got me thinking of other candidates since we are nearing the end of the decade. I don't really have an order, these are just some good albums that come to mind.

P.S (I also Googled this, and I noticed that most lists placed Radiohead's Kid A as #1, which surprised me because although I loved OK Computer and The Bends, I didn't like Kid A at all)

Avenged Sevenfold- City of Evil

NIN- With Teeth

Audioslave- Audioslave

System of a Down- Mezmerize

Tool- 10,000 Days

Pearl Jam- Pearl Jam

Metallica- Death Magnetic

I'm quite partial to The Empyrean by Froosh, but that's just me and my fanboyism.

This has been done so many times.
We need a more revved up searchbar and smarter users.

This can't possibly end well. My favorite 2000s albums have been Streetlight Manifesto's, though, I think. Dunno.

Tool's Lateralus.

Meshuggah had awesome albums as well, but Lateralus was just so godly, it's unbeatable.

A live album, but it counts!
The UG Awards exist only to instill me with existential doubt.

For me, the 60's ended that day in 1978...

Willies. Fuck the lick and fuck you too.
