There are a lot of different ways to read people. Some people can tell a lot about a person by their handwriting, or you can tell a few things about someone from their voice, and especially their body language, or the way they word a sentence. All in all, which do you guys think is the most useful?

If I'm just standing or walking, not doing anything or talking to anyone, I have one hand in my pocket (usually my left hand in my left front pocket or left back pocket), but I'm not really a nervous person. What's this mean?

You're looking at it from the wrong direction. If you do those things, it doesn't mean that you are nervous/insecure or whatever. But if you are nevous/insecure, you tend to do those things.

That kinda shoots a hole in this argument then, doesn't it? I mean, my hands just might be cold.

No not really

I never said it's a 100% foolproof way to read someone.

They're all important, of course, but I think it really depends on the situation. If you need to intellectually judge somebody, how they speak might be a big clue. If you need to know if they're good at sports, perhaps body language would be more suitable.

But overall, in the average day, I'd say that their voice and how they speak is the most important. At least it is to me.

Or maybe their arms are just tired perhaps?
