yeah, this is for real.
it sounds crappy as Midi.
for many others it will probably sound crappy as RSE either.

seriously, i'm gonna record this.
but it won't gonna be too mainstream-esque.

i'm sick of that stuff that grows everywhere.

I like it and don't like it at the same time. Inevitably actually hearing it would make it easier to determine. I am a fan of doom metal and black metal (among other extreme forms of music) and dissonance can be something that is effective to the mood if done correctly. Unfortunately, based off of what is provided in the Guitar Pro file I would have to say it is a little over used. Dissonance tones ringing in ones ear excessively just becomes moot noise. Its different if you incorporate occasionally moments of dissonance. You have dual arpeggios just contradicting each other entirely.

In the least I like some of the bars. I suppose how this works out would be dependent strictly on how it is mixed to some degree. Also if you include synths or sampled sounds it may become more appealing to the ear as well.

If you want to comment me back feel free to check out the song "He Spoke Death at Dusk" in my profile (the one at the top). Its basically symphonic black metal.

sorry, i couldn't upload it here. the file is too big.

anyway, i just recorded the first riff, but i think it's enough to get to know the sound.
and.. uhm.. I used a 'Singstar' microphone, best quality is not provided.

maybe you're right with 'too much dissonance', but, well.. it's the Gorguts influence.

Update:
- made some riffs easier to play,
- added two riffs

but i'm not sure of them, because they kinda sound out of place with being melodic and not in 9/8.

Dissonance is cool if you can place it into right places. (exam. Mayhem?)
But that was total noise. It wasn't good.
