hi i amliving in pakistan.thing is i am a beginner. i have been playing the guitar since 3 months. i have an acoustic guitar. i am not yet really good at it. i was wondering about buying an electric one. i used to have my eyes on fender stratocaster(cuz of david gilmour). now beacuse genuine strats (even MIMs) are'nt available in pakistan (at reasonable price), i was thinking of gettin an ibanez. i want one with a trem. plz tell me which one i shud get.

Or if i shud'nt even be getting an electric guitar at this stage.

the ones i have chosen are listed (i chose these ones becuse they were available in black color(that is also a priority), and becuse i like the RG design). so ppl who are are more knowlegdeable than me plz help here.

1.RG3620Z
2.RG2570Z
3.RG2610Z
4.RG1570
5.RG1820X
6.RGT6EX
7.RG370DX

Also i am under a budget. Once i know which Axe to get, i can get to the amp part.

ppl i'd like you to please qoute a price here too.

i know many of you will direct me to some website but plz take the time to find the price

cuz if the data is in one place it'll be easier to interpret.

Thank You. Peace.

Here's a suggestion:

Why don't you look up the prices yourself and stop being lazy.

Then when you find ones in your price range, go and play them yourself and choose which one YOU like.

Different people like different guitars.

numbers 1-6 are highend and your going to be looking at £800 to £1200

and there`s a pricelist on the ibanez website.

http://resources.ibanez.com/resourceservicehost/images/Ibanez/web/catalogs/09_Ibanez_Summer_PriceList.pdf

take those prices and you can reduce them by 15% (maximum discount that ibanez permits - in the uk anyway)

plz tell me of other guitars which have a tremolo by Ibanez. or some thing around 250 to 400 dollars.

idk what $250-$400 is in pakistan currency, but if its close to american currency, you could get an Ibanez RG350DX, thats pretty popular. has Edge III trem. and you can get it in black.

This one does have a trem, just not a floating trem, its more like the trems on fenders.

it is cheaper and has what you're looking for. and in the future you can always put in better pickups.

Dude, a RG3620Z is an $1800 guitar in the US. If you can afford it, get anything on your list that you want....maybe 2.

thanks for all the help ppl. just one last question. i went to my local guitar store last night and saw one RG370DX but it had a china make. he told me that it would cost $219. and the korean made will be $390.

my question is in which countries are ibanez manufactured?

which ones are worth it. you know cuz someone said that the problem with the chinese model will be that in an year or two something will break of it.

so what do you ppl say.
