if you want to stick with duncan, maybe a seth lover? you don't want to go with anything hotter than a '59, anyway. your choices (again, if you want to stick with duncan) will probably boil down to the neck version of the '59, the jazz, seth lover, maybe the alnico II pro (though it might be too warm to match well). EDIT: or maybe an antiquity, but i haven't tried those. and they'd probably show up the '59 in the bridge.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

yeah, i'm not a major fan of the jazz, either. the '59 (neck version; i haven't tried the '59 bridge, unfortunately) isn't bad, but it's a bit of a jack of all trades- if you know exactly what you want, you can probably do better.
