Darkest Hour, assuming you can play it, is really fun. Try Tranquil.

Triviums new album is played on 7 strings. They have good guitar parts.

The Devil Wears Prada is pretty fun to jam with.

you're not gonna want to take a dump in a gross, off-colored, vintage toilet. you want something that is white and pearly; something that shines. something that you can put your cheeks against and say, "f*** yeah"

I think black doom death metal is just plain stupid. go flame on me but i can't hear nothing but shit on those songs with everything in drop A or below. also it could've been without lyrics as you'd never hear them anyway.

I know Trivium does alot of work with a 7'er but not to sure about the B tuning. Just throwing that out there, some of their stuff is pretty sweet.

If Drop B is available, then I vote for:
Parkway Drive - Horizons (nice sweeps + tapping solo at the end)
Parkway Drive - Idols and anchors (tapping, heavy downpicking, and a nice solo at the end as well)
For Drop D:
As I Lay Dying - Forsaken
