Hi there, i've been recently practicing my scales and runs with a meternome so when I play them faster they are much neater, but I am having a problem trying to set my Korg MA-30 up to play this run

e|---------------------------------------------------------|
B|-----------------------------------------8-10-11-8-10-11-|
G|---------------------------7-9-10-7-9-10-----------------|
D|-------------7-8-10-7-8-10-------------------------------|
A|-5-7-8-5-7-8---------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------|
PM . . . . . . . . . . . . .

e|-------------------------------------------------|
B|-13-11-10----11-10-------------------------------|
G|----------12-------12-10-14-12-10----12-10-------|
D|----------------------------------14-------14-12-|
A|-------------------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------------------|

at the moment it is set up to play 4 beats, but I just can't seem to make this certain lick fit to the meternome, so can anyone tell a total noob with meternomes whether I have it set up wrong or am i just not playing it correctly to the beat.

Thanks.

judging by these 'ranks', I guess you were looking at Gibson guitars.

In that case, it goes (worst --> best)
special --> studio --> standard --> custom

When Gibson calls something "special", it's special in the way a retarded kid is.

Well considering it's 6 notes per string you're gonna wanna play that in triplets, which'll be hard...

and then there's free jazz, which isn't even for musicians.

As my old guitar teacher once said: Metal really comes from classical music. The only difference is pinch harmonics, double bass, and lyrics about killing goats.
