These are my favourites, I need to try more though. I've ordered off of the site too (I live in the UK) so I can say it was fine (for me)

Do you want a real cigar or the cheap flavored crap that you kids always seem to be smoking?

The only flavored crap I can handle is acid kong kameroon, but cao moontrance is alright if you want to be cheap. Romeo y Juliet are meh, I prefer Cohiba black.

I've never had an expensive cigar (like more than $20), but the $5 ones you get at any tobacco shop are still really worth it occasionally.

You should try a more expensive one; once you've had one, you'll realise the cheapo ones you get at garages and what not are a bit rubbish!

Ask for something a little more on the mild side, a full or even medium bodied smoke can knock your ass down if you've never smoked. Also, eat a good sized meal beforehand.

If you have money get expensive ones(well worth it), if you don't get cheap
The only thing is if you get expensive ones now, you will hate cheap ones, they are garbage. I tried expensive ones first, and they are so good, cheap ones are now ruined for me.

You don't really inhale at all with a cigar. You just puff it for the taste.

Wow, there is certainly no shortage of ignorance in this thread. Two major points that are worth adressing:

1. Don't listen to those that insist that cheap cigars are garbage. Price is, by no means, a reflection of quality and there are plenty of good smokes available in the $4-$10 range--actually you can get a number of absolutely fantastic cigars for $8-~$10 (the Illusione, Tatuaje Cazadores, and Don Pepin Garcia's Blue and My Father lines come to mind).

2. It has been my experience that those people who recommend "Cubans" have never smoked a genuine Habano nor would they know how to go about getting them. Sorry to burst your collective bubble, but CCs are not inherently better than cigars from other countries--there is nothing magical in Cuba's soil. There are good ones and bad ones (unfortunately, it seems like there are more bad ones as of late) just as there are good and bad cigars from Nicaragua and the DR. Don't buy into that myth.

Cigar smoke isn't inhaled so there really isn't any risk of developing lung cancer. The rate of oral and throat cancer amongst cigar smokers are quite low as well.

Oh yeah, you'd be turning green in seconds

Another piece of advice I'll throw out there is to get a relatively mild cigar for your first smoke. You may find that you want a stronger cigar next time, but if you get one that's too strong the first time it can turn you off to cigars completely.
