Not technically a V, but it'll do. There is a C-1 Hellraiser V with an FR though, so maybe you should check that out.

Great neck, nice n light, good tuning stability. Overall a good guitar. I didn't but it cause I generally only buy guitars over a grand now.

My recommendation is the B.C. Rich NT Jr. V. Give it a try, it's awesome

I'd say the RR3, but how is it NOT V? its just an offset V, its still a V, just a Rhoads V.

Not at all. Duncans > "every guitar sounds the same" EMGs

You could check out the Washburn WV40V. Kinda odd shape though.

DBZ Venom:

http://www.carlinoguitars.com/DBZVenom_matteblack.html

Or if you want to go with a slightly different shape:

http://www.carlinoguitars.com/DBZBirdofPreymatteblack.html

Or if you like the graphic...they might still have a few in stock:

http://www.themusicfarm.com/product_info.php?products_id=8055

Same with the BoP:

http://www.themusicfarm.com/product_info.php?products_id=8826

These are quality guitars. They just started shipping earlier this month/late last month. Dean Zelinzky left Dean Guitar to form this company. He has done a great job. Eddie at Carlino says that these import models are just as good as any USA made guitar out there. It has an Original Floyd Rose (NOT licensed). EMG 81/85. Set Neck. Be sure to read Eddie's reviews; he knows how a guitar should be built and gave a great review of both guitars.

The coming months will hold many new DBZ's..if you don't like the shape of the Venom, you might want to wait for the Cavallo which has a more Gibson V shape, but better imo.

Nice pic of Cavallo (sold already):

http://www.themusicfarm.com/product_info.php?products_id=8062

The particular model you are looking at is a NAMM prototype. Newer models should be out in the coming months.

Oh cool. I'm probably going to wait too (mostly because i don't have the money now ). I figure once i get a job i can start saving for the USA Green Flame Bird of Prey or Red Flame Venom. It seems like they are doing pretty good so far, but i hear what your saying. Better to be safe than sorry.

Get over the EMGs. They're balls and will make every guitar sound the same as the next EMG-equipped guitar.
