I'm thinking about buying a distortion pedal Which of the two should I buy?

If I buy a Behringer, I might buy 2 pedals 'cause it's really affordable. But I'm thinking about buying Boss DS-1 'cause I'm pretty sure Boss products are great.

So, which one should I buy? =/

Get a Behringer Delay/Reverb Pedal and A Behringer Overdrive/Distortion
No I am not trolling - but it will give you a feel for different types of effects
And I doubt you'd noticed their crappy tone if you were considering a DS-1
And Boss' products definately aren't all great - There delays and loopers are fairly good
Other then that their largely ****

* Schecter Jeff Loomis Signature 7 String

the boss, what amp do you have?

Just a cheap amp. Does the DS-1 sound good? I play alternative music, pop rock, punk..

The DS1 model on my DF7 gives me some nice tones.....however it has low/mid/mid freq/high controls instead of a single tone knob, so I really cant tell how the real thing sounds like.

Honestly I think you'd find it a waste of money.
You should look into a Behringer Distortion - I second the Big muff pic clone!
