The V-401, definitely. Mahogany body, set neck, & EMG's > Basswood body, bolt-on, & ESP pickups.

The ESP LTD V - 401 has active pick ups, and it's a generally upgraded version of the V - 200. I would go for the V - 401.

id go with the V 401 as well. Mahogany body,Floyd rose bridge. just your gonna need to get a case for it

I just got my v-401 deluxe yesterday this thing is tits. i did alot of looking before i bought it if you want a V with a floyd and emg's this is the best one in the 800.00 dollar price range. i played the schecter and the bc rich V the ltd 401 dx won it had the fastest neck and the best wood combination.

alright, guess ill get that v401, thanks for the help guys. is a floyd rose as hard as they say to manage? ive never had one before, but i really want that whammy bar.

Exactly what this guy says. The V-401 beats the V-200 on all levels. If you can afford to do either, getting the 200 would be...... Well, that would just be flat out ****in stupid lol

the v-401 for sure. better pups, and set neck instead of bolt-on (altho some ppl prefer bolt-on)
