SO i have a gig tomorrow, and the jack to my Valveking has gone and killed itself. without holding it, the input jack with short out and feedback.

i know how to fix input jacks, such as on guitars, and i can solder, but i have no idea how to go about fixing this problem.. help need, thanks

what do you mean by "without holding it" would say its a grounding problem or like... when it moves it messes up?

Don't open it up, you could kill yourself.

No, seriously, DON'T. I'm not sure if you know this already, but just to be safe: amps have deadly voltages in them which have to be drained.

Try contact cleaner on the jack, and work the cable in and out of it. You may require several applications of contact cleaner.
