How hard would it be to recess a floyd rose?

I'm thinking about getting a Charvel, and then routing out the space under the floyd, so I can pull up also.

I tried it out in store.

Great neck, nice n light, good tuning stability. Overall a good guitar. I didn't but it cause I generally only buy guitars over a grand now.

Not too hard, just route it a little deeper.

What type of Charvel? Some of the Floyd-equipped ones are already recessed.

The Ferrari Red one with the black pickgaurd. Doesn't look recessed to me, but I could be wrong.

The new San Dimas one? Then you could easily recess it. You can buy some really good templates from Stewmac if you're not comfortable doing it with just paper temps, then buy a router bearing bit and go to town. I prefer the "Lion claw" recess like on Steve Vai's Jems, but some people prefer the block routing.
