I've never seen the film before and seeing as my job is working at the local convenience store, i checked it out. Jesus Christ, the movie was surreal. I rank that film up with The Big Lebowski in terms of comedy. I'm currently downloading everything Kevin Smith has ever made. Superb dialog throughout, a very relatable movie for anybody with a crappy job.

Clerks is a classic. If you really get into Kevin Smith, you should check out all of the An Evening With Kevin Smith shows. Basically just him doing Q&A sessions in various places. Really funny and interesting stuff.

You keep seeing songs like KoC, SMBH, and Hysteria showing up on games, but I want Micro Cuts on either Rock Band or Sing Star. I want to see numerous masses of kids staring at the tv wondering what the hell they're supposed to do.

clerks used to be my favorite movie of all time, but i dont really have one anymore, but the first time i ever saw clerks was when i worked at a video store and my girlfriend at the time worked at a conveince store (talk about surreal) and i actually got my first bj during the infamous "37 scene"

Same, for the most part.
I want to work in revelations, not just spin silly tales for money.I want to fish as deep down as possible into my own subconscious in the belief that once that far down, everyone will understand because they are the same that far down.

Watch Clerks II. It's certainly not as good, but they make King Diamond references so it's worth it.

The King Diamond references are awesome, I've only seen Clerks II and Jay And Silent Bob, but they're both on my iPod, ****ing awesome!
I think its time to pack your things lets go,
To a place where we both know,
And dont worry, I'll drive real slow,
Spend some time before we go..

Best comedy director ever. Even the two chick flicks he's done are amazing.

Before I moved from my town in middle school me and one of my best friends used to watch his movies religiously. Every time I've visited since we had one night where we did a Kevin Smith movie marathon.

If I say that I like Clerks II more than Clerks is that blasphemous?

No, because although I prefer Clerks, Clerks II actually had a plot

you've always been a favorite of mine, you are officially in my "Cool Kid" list.

I'm an uber Kevin Smith fanboy, to be honest. If you love the movies, check out his Q&A DVDs, "An Evening With Kevin Smith", "An Evening with Kevin Smith 2: Evening Harder" and "A Threevening with Kevin Smith: Sold Out".

THEN, if you adore the Q&As, start listneing to his podcast, called SModcast, where he and his producer Scott Mosier just talk a lot, but it's very brilliant.
