This is a very basic question... how do you hold a girls hand whom you really like/love?

It would be cool if you would detail with your answer (if you comment) whether you love them or just like them. I'd understand if you don't wanna do that. It's alllllll good.

So, like this:

with the fingers meshed together?

Or this:

with the hand simply clasping the other?

The question has always concerned me. It seems that the uncool couples hold hands the second way, while the cooler, hipper (generally younger) folks tend to mesh their fingers, like in the first picture. That's generalizing, of course.

So, has handing holds become a fashion statement? Or are they simply doing what is more comfortable?

the first one. The second feels weird

Both, but I prefer clasped so I can run away faster. And I've actually gotten my fingers "stuck" in meshed before, which was pretty embarrassing
#17
I'm not one for holding hands. Really don't feel the need for pda's, but if she likes to I do the clasped. Meshed takes too long and makes it look like you're in middle school.
#18
I don't, but I'd mesh fingers.. I've tried both ways and meshed hands is much comfier
"You're a twat!"- That dude in morrisons

"You Ugly git!" - That girl in the restaurant

"You Were a Mistake!" - Mum

just a few of my fans..

Whichever doesn't twist the wrist into an awkward position, if I'm cuddling on a couch. If walking together, fingers meshed.

I don't like holding hands, it makes me feel awkward that I can't walk on my own and need to be attached to someone or announce my ownership of them to the world...
Unfortunately the "I don't like holding hands" is more interpreted as "I don't like you" to guys than just "I'm not as touchy-feely as most girls, be thankful I'm not clinging to you,"

Hmmm, I wonder why I suck at relationships...

No, I totally dig that. It's kinda why I created this thread... because I wanted to see if there were any folks lying around who didn't like holding hands, simply for the reasons that you stated.

I used to like holding hands. I still do, but nowhere as much as I used to.

You are a stud-muffin. Girls like guys who know what they want and aren't afraid to bitch about it until they get it.

clasping eachothers hand is like what your parents/grandparents did when you were 4 and learning to cross the road.

meshed, because its just more lovey and less awkward that way.

Meshed. It just feels better and clasping is harder if your walking around and such.

Meshed, definitely. Clasping is for little kids and old people.

But to give details, I always have to have my thumb over the girls thumb, so my hand's at the front. That way I'm leading the hold, and leading her hand, and so I can control her, I suppose.

I don't really like holding hands much when I'm walking. It gets kind of annoying after a little while. I like it when I'm sitting down, cuddling, or other similar situations.
