As stated on another of my threads, this forum is full of bandwagons. What gets on my nerves is people saying a certain product is good without having trying it, or even heard it. Let's list some of those products:

- Blackstar HT-5 (ain't got yours yet?)
- TC Electronics Nova Repeater Delay (used to be G-Major... trends shift fast)
- Electro Harmonix Memory Boy (hey wait! that don't sound like my digital pedal!)
- ISP Decimator (what ever happened to the Hush?)

Name yours!

Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.

I find your sig hilariously ironic.

Another bandwagon would be Celestion Vintage 30's, but they are plainly awesome.

Epiphone Les Paul Standard w/ SD Alnico Pro II's
Fender Aerodyne Telecaster & Stratocaster
Marshall JCM 800 4104 combo

Buy a Vypyr....they're br00talz!

Skier - you have a good point but when it gets down to people recommending something strictly because they see other people recommend it - that's a bandwagon for better or worse.

with the HT-5, is it bad to bandwagon a good amp though? usually "bandwagoning" means to glorify a sub-par object. i'm not sure whether you mean to say we are "trending" certain items of gear instead. whenever i've sat down with an HT-5, i've always been impressed and walk away happy.

i'm just wanting a clarification what your definition of "bandwagoning" is.

example: a gear "bandwagon" would be for us all to keep on suggesting for all metal players to buy an MD-2 and an MD-2 only. the MD-2 is a known sub-performing 'heavy distortion' emulator. it would make no sense for an entire forum to suggest a pedal that, with common knowledge and insight, to be of horrid tonal quality. thus, if a group of people would continue to suggest this pedal after all of this is known, they would be "on the bandwagon" for the MD-2.

implied definitions are your best friend.

UG may have to eat their words with the new MG's, Chappers' demo of the MG15fx sounded reaally good.

You missed the biggest one. TeH Tooobz!!!

Maybe a little overhyped but still a great solution for most bedroom rockers that live on this forum

- TC Electronics Nova Repeater Delay (used to be G-Major... trends shift fast)

Incredible features and bang for your buck. For 10 dollars more than a DD7, you get way more functionality and away better sounding delay (whats not to like). G-Major is great but not practical for everyone

- Electro Harmonix Memory Boy (hey wait! that don't sound like my digital pedal!)

Cheaper than a Carbon Copy, more features and better sounding. Why not like it?

- ISP Decimator (what ever happened to the Hush?)
Designed by the same guy who designed the HUSH, but does the job much better. Try one for yourself. I have both
