does fret buzzing make guitar playing more difficult or is it me? I've noticed that my low E buzz on every fret, dunno how to fix it when I try to play palm muted riffs on the low E it feels more difficult, is it me or does the buzzing make it harder? my string feels like very tense or something... got an Ibanez RG350mdx with the tremolo... is the tremolo or something that's ****ing up the low E?
action is too low I would say...raise the tremolo up a little bit and that should take away the buzz...to answer your question though, yes fret buzz makes it damn near impossible to play haha
lol thx! no wonder I couldn't down pick master of puppets O_O I've got idea of guitar action and such stuff, is there a good thread about that? If i feel unsure about how to fix it,should i just go to closest guitar shop and tell em to fix it?
yeah man all you have to do is take an allen wrench and unscrew (well, raise up) the tremolo a little bit at the bridge. It's very easy and should only take about 5 minutes. you may have to retune after this but hopefully not! good luck
I meant that I had NO idea about action or that stuff XD but i'll take a look at it, allen wrench you say? i'll look if i have one... btw is it those 2 small holes that are close to the fine tuners that i should unscrew? thx for help m8
they're larger screws...right about where the whammy bar itself screws in and one more on the other side...they're the screws that hold the whammy bar in place (along with the springs and string tension)
how would this affect my other strings?
