Hi.
I'm thinking of starting to build my own guitar pedal. Sounds like a cheaper and more comfortable way to have some additional "boxes" in a pedalboard.
I never did that, thou I understand how to read schematics.
Any 1 practices that kind of stuff? Is there any big difference between shop-bought and home-made effect ?
Gonna try to do a Big Muff Pi effect.
Poor polish guitar player.

they will sound similar but the better the parts you use the more closer it should sound to the real thing

Just so you know, while I am all for doing this - I'm actually starting to also - it isn't really cheaper. Some types of effects are, but in general unless you are buying the parts in quantity it won't be significantly cheaper.

The difference is you can mod yourself the pedals...
Get good components to make your pedal...

addendum: ok, you're in poland. so you will not be ordering from GGG. however, you can still use their projects and BOM's to source your own parts and etch your own PCB's.
