I plan on recording some songs that I have written, some of which include piano, and I do not have access to a piano and won't have access for a long while if at all. So basically, I want to know what would be the best program to use to simulate a piano. I have FL Studio which has some piano sounds but I'm not content with them. For programs money is not an issue.

Thanks in advanced,

The fretboard is dry because it is more than likely made in China.

I wonder how he came to this conclusion.

If money is not an issue, just get a keyboard... They're like 300 for an okay one..

The FL Keys seem fine to me

You could always looks for some free VST's or learn how to control the synths you already have

Acoustica Pianissimo is the best I've heard. It runs about about $70 though.

Some 'musician' you are.. stealing your equipment.
Sad.

I don't see how that makes me any less of a "musician". Maybe less of a person.

This.

I'd agree with Pianoteq, if you HAD to use a VSTi', that is. Personally, I prefer to record as much as I can without using virtual instruments.

But there are somebody that don't have any piano to mic.

Kore Player's piano sound is free, good and legal. so why download one?

Well yeah, I wasn't saying don't use VSTi's and such. I was just trying to say that they don't compare to a real piano.
