I've read a few places that Dunlop doesn't use true bypass in their pedals. But they just put out an article on their blog claiming that they 100% do. The explanation seems pretty clear. Does true bypass really matter?

Here's the article.

By the way, my favorite dunlop pedal is the carbon copy. That thing sounds ****ing killer! They have a contest on their blog too right now, they're giving away carbon copys for the whole month of october. i've entered 3 times

They did not claim anywhere in that article that they 100% true bypass.

Look at that table that they posted... it tells you which pedals utilize what type of bypass system.

And no, true bypass is not always the best option.

I dunno but i would actually use a buffer/buffered pedal at the beginning and the end of my signal chain and every pedal would be true bypass between those two.
