There is a Maths/Science help thread.

Even so, that is just a polynomial? What's the actual question?

the question is to factorise it, but i cant remember how to factorise it, also, could i have a link to this thread?

I seem to remember something about the factor theorem. If you sub in f(x) x = -1, f(x) = 0, therefore (x+1) is a factor. Do long division x^3 + 6x^2 + 11x + 6 / x + 1 = x^2 + 5x + 6
Factorise the quadratic expression to (x+3)(x+2)

Answer is (x+2)(x+3)(x+5)

I'd be an awful teacher, I know.
