hey i want to start guitar and want a versatile guitar to play classic rock and a bit of metal. im gonna say that my budget is $400, nothing more, what guitar would you guys recommend?
Doesn't get any more versatile than a fender strat. But idk if that fits into budget
i could probly find one used, a strat was what i was thinking.
A nice used MIM would be perfect.
an ibanez rg
consider a superstrat, if ur playing metal
MIM, it looks like your a bassist and can wait a while, so if you wanna get the best strat for a decent amount of money Highway One would be the way to go.
Used MIM strat or Tele. Squier Classic Vibe Tele or Strat are also good.
Schecter C-1 Hellraiser with a coil tap
epiphone les paul
Classic rock & metal? Sounds like an SG to me.
I would suggest a superstrat, with HH, HSS, or HSH (most versatile, imo).
An HSH SG would be cool.
Super strats are ugly IMO, get a HSS strat or a 3 pickup SG and replace the middle with a P-90 fit in a humbucker case.
