I own an Ibanez Jem, its good and all, but I realised that my high bends on the scalloped frets fret out sometimes. If I do a fast bend it never frets out though.

Is this a guitar problem or is it my technique?
if u think about it, when u bend the string, ur tensing it up a lot and it reduces the sustain greatly (if u dont add any vibrato). ur probably just not noticing it when u do it quickly. or perhaps ur letting off some pressure and not noticing?

When my exams finish ill bring it to my guitar teacher and check it out.
The action could be to low, and the strings just dampening out on the frets above the note you're playing. Raise the action just a touch, see if that doesn't fix it.
You can call me Aaron.

Out on parole, any more instances of plum text and I get put back in...
