Hey all,

I'll try to c4c, but I'm not promising anything.

I know there are some grammar errors, but I wrote it how I would sing it.

Yes, the way i sing it would make it rhyme, so try to read it like AABB

It's about self-doubt.

It's got a bluesy, jazzy feel. Anyways, here ya go:

verse:
He’s the man in the dark room’s corner
Lit cigarette, eyes locked on ya
It’s Just enough to feel alive
Just enough to make you bite

You’re gonna ignore eye contact
Clothes are looking sharp but your confidence is flat
Riding high, expecting an applause
He knows just how to turn you off

chorus:
So walk, with your head high
But just, be ready to fly
You can’t, make them dance
Cus if you do, it’s a heartbreak romance

verse:
The night is almost over
And through it all, you’ve felt his torture
You turn around, throw your arms up
Stare him down, you’ve had enough

Walk hard, let him hear your bark
He slowly fades into the dark
You scurry, crumble under pressure
You were not phased; no, no, no never

chorus:
So walk, with your head high
But just, be ready to fly
You can’t, make them dance
Cus if you do, it’s a heartbreak romance

live righteously

I swear to God we're gonna get it right,
If you'd just lay your weapon down.
