Anyone have any ear problems? (because of guitar?) like... tinnitus, hearing loss? is it normal to experience it?

Whenever Im exposed to silence I hear a slight ringing in my ear. I dont blame guitar so much as I do my drummer for playing so loud.

Nope, surprisingly. Only problem I have is a really blocked ear which makes everything kinda muffled and it rings alot, but it's an easy fix, just haven't got around to it yet.

It probably helped a bit actually, because I play through a 100watt Marshall at home with the volume usually up around 2.

I have somewhat damaged hearing from my drum kit in my tiny bedroom. I really should wear earplug.

Maybe you should wear ear plugs so your ears don't get worse.

Well, drummers don't exactly have a volume knob they can turn down.

Anyway, I used to hear humming in my ears in total silence if I concentrated hard enough on it, but I haven't been able to reproduce that for a while. Odd.
