i am having trouble with the fast part of the solo on We Dont Celebrate Sundays by Hardcore Superstar

this is the link to the guitar pro tab that im using

http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/h/hardcore_superstar/we_dont_celebrate_sundays_ver2_guitar_pro.htm

i am learning the song in standard, this tab is in Eb but i know how to play it in standard and have made another guitar pro file with the whole song in standard.

the part i need help is bars 95-97 on the Lead guitar it starts on the C, 9th fret E string and ends on F 9th fret A string.
its just using 5 nots of the Major Pentatonic Scale i think.
its so fast though. when i play it it seems like to take about 6 or 7 seconds. prob longer and it really annoying

6-7 seconds for 5 notes of the maj pent? Meh....

If you have a metronome start at a slow tempo and go up progressively untill you can play it fast enough

Are you picking each note?
If yes, then try using hammer ons and pull offs.

Also try and play it slow then gradually speed up to the tempo the song is at......

Say decrease the bpm by 20?
They made me do push ups in drag

i know i said its using 5 notes of a scale but its playing them over and over in a pattern quite fast.

yeh i am picking each note, i just seem to mess it up when i try to go faster than about 80-90bpm. the tab says its 148bpm.

download it please and have a look at it.

My bad about the misinterpretaition, just stay at around 80bpm then, until you can play flawless, then go up by 5bpm into you reach 148

Yeah I downloaded it, like westdyolf said, just nail it at 80 bpm, then slowly push the bpm up.

Great song, great band. But the solo in Sundays is not that hard. Do as it has already been said, work yourself up, starting in a tempo where you can play it PERFECT and you will eventually nail it.
