OKAY!

- Two humbuckers
- No tremolo
- Less than 24 frets (22 is optimal)
- No carved top (I don't like that added weight, and I find the thick body uncomfortable)
- Neck not painted (satin, or similar finish is good)
- No neck pocket angle
- Suited for high-gain playing
- Bolt-on neck
- Longer than 24.75 scale neck
- Available left handed.
- 1000-1800$

Any ideas?

Get a lefty hardtail strat and fit it with a new pickguard set up for humbuckers. They have every other kink of strat so I don't see why they wouldn't have one like that.

This. When I read your descriptions I immediately thought of a Strat of some kind.

Fender Tele Deluxe, with a pickup swap depending on your amp? Can't remember if they're 21 or 22 frets, but otherwise they're flat-tops, hardtail, 25.5" scale, no angled neck pocket, the back of the neck will have a satin finish and I'm pretty sure Fender makes nearly all of their guitars in a left-handed version, so I would think you could find one.
Yes, I know everything. No, I can't play worth a damn.

Head and Cab for $130? You don't need a head and cabinet, you need a psychological examination.

I would honestly love a Carvin, but I can't bring myself to get one without trying it out first. Even with the 10-day return policy, shipping is $60 USD to ship to Canada, and that's alot.

But! I've found exactly what I want.

Do yourself a favor and get yourself a Warmoth. I was in the same situation as you, picky as hell for my next guitar, so I built one that can match $3000+ guitars but only cost me a bit over $1000.
