New Old Gear Day:

I got a call from an old friend who's band use to share a space with my band 15 years ago. He said he had my old rig (found it in storage). I lost track of it a long time ago. I was so psyched. I thought these were long gone. I picked it up today.

It's a ProAmp Viper (solid state pre and 2 6l6 power section)
the cab is a Marshall 1965a 4x10). Everything still works fine.
The cab sounds awesome doubled with the 212 out of my Blackstar.
The head wil be nice with the Blackstar or my SansAmp PSA running into the power section.

[quote="'[BurnTheDusk"]']Boss pedals may be built like tanks but I would rather buy a cardboard box that is on my side than pay for a tank that is working against me.

I just procrastinated and left my stuff. I quit playing (just started playing again a year and a half ago) and lost track of my friend. We connected o Facespace a couple of months ago He got kicked out of his house (marital issues), moved into his fathers art studio while his dads in France - and found it there mixed in with all his band gear from way-back

It's a two channel 100 watt head with reverb. There's 2 inputs (high/low gain) and a three band eq (seperate for each channel). All the knobs are stacked one above the other to seprate each channel. It has a hard-wired foot-switch cable.
It's not very gainy, I have to mess with it more.
It's loud and clean though

I've been wondering, with a tube power section would you be able to crank and have it sound even better like a normal tube amp?

As for the swim team member that drowned, it just means the swim team just got a lot better. Same with him too, it's time to move on, the weakest link is gone...
