I use the tonelab for recording through the ux2, and turn of amp/cab sim when playing live through the valvetronix.

@greeny: I'm also looking to have some gear brought over to Australia from abroad, how much of it did u have imported and did Customs give u a hard time/ lots of tax/ lots of paperwork and general unpleasantness?

i had the 2 boss pedals together imported from an ebay shop, cost $55 and the Rat cost $40.
i also got the Gretsch on the wall sent for $100 express, took 2 days.
if you contact sellers and find a good dealer, its no hassle at al.l

Its been a long time in the making.
The stuff on the pedalboard (including the board) was around $1200 AUD, the amp was a bargain at $550 AUD.
The guitars you can work out i guess, not the best recollection of prices for them.

Well it looks like your set. Sure i guess in the future you could upgrade with a new head or some weird pedals but thats a quality rig right there. Nice one

For us Aussies i know that if you want some decent stuff you need money and to spot bargains like a hawk. I trolled ebay for months to find my amp+cab for under 1000.

what?!? only 9 guitars?!? thats not even a real rig! everyone knows you need at least 13 guitars and more pedals than you can fit on a board for a real rig. excess is the best when yer living in the states.

your gonna be making the big time tracks with all that stuff dude, good job.

Congrats.

Nice guitars man.

You have a UX2 - you should consider getting a mic so you can mic that cab -if you are not already.

Would it be better to mic it or run a lead from the line output to the guitar in?

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
