I got my sister pregnant once. Yeah, that was awkward, but mostly because she's 6 years younger than me.

Definitely the Alesis EQ.

I'd go for a DigiTech Bad Monkey if you want it for boosting.

And I'd save more for a delay; decent delays are at least $100 (excepting the Electro-Harmonix Memory Toy).

ok, from the second link i would pick up the boss bf-2. i know you didnt mention a flanger, but those things are supposed to be pretty nice, and for $45 i know i would scoop it up. then grab that ts-7 and the dd-6 and you have spent $130 and only have one pedal left on your list. if you decide you really need an eq (some people swear by them, as time goes on i realize how little i need one) then pick up a danelectro fish and chips. will put you a bit over your total $150 budget, but thats how i would do it given those options. personally i think its either that or buy 1 or two effects now and save up for the other(s).

personally i would always have at least one modulation pedal like that in my rig, unless i was doing a one cable between guitar and amp sorta thing. do you need a flanger for that stuff? no, of course not. however a lot of bands do use a flanger in prog or classic rock, so i dont see the harm in picking one up.

as for the EQ, well i have to ask if you really want a rack EQ. with a pedal you can stomp it on and off. with a rack, well it is set and forget. and half the time a sound guy live is going to over-ride you anyway. with a stereo version you can switch between the two channels with an a/b switch, so that might be useful. i dont know which i would go for, but at the same time these days i personally dont find an EQ a useful effect for my board. live it isnt needed half/most of the time, and if recording i can do everything afterwards.

IMO pedal EQ's are more useful. You can use it for more than you can if you get the rack one since the rack one is just on. Dano F'n'C should do you well for the price.
