I am thinking about getting another guitar. Im not a noob by any means, but am looking to spend as little as possible. So, i was thinking of getting a Squire Tele and swapping out the hardware and pickups. I want one which has spacing for a Humbucker in the bridge atleast and i just want to get the best guitar possible for now a whole lot of money so i'll buy everything off ebay no doubt.

So, in short, which squire tele has the best body and neck with space for a humbucker in the bridge?

Yeah i thought about that, its just im not big on using signature guitars if im honest.

I'm also open to any companies that make tele style guitars that sell in the UK.

You always can buy humbuckers in singlecoil size. so you could pick any Tele you want

I always thought it was a kick in the baws to be offered a signature squier instead of a fender :/

But if you're not up for a signature model go for the squier delux. If i'm not mistaken it has 2 hmbuckers?

John 5 has had a Fender signature. Several in fact

And the Classic Vibe Teles are usually considered the best Squier Teles available. I'm not sure how they're routed though.

You could find a squier deluxe, it was a great squier that had a mahogany body, 2 humbuckers, and I think the guitar was neck through.

Agreed. Definitely good instruments for the money. If its not routed for a humbucker, you can route it yourself if you're confident in your woodworking skills.

Or like someone else suggested, humbucker in a single coil form.

I'm not to confident on routing a guitar if i'm honest and aren't the squier deluxe's strats?

No, I accidentally said the wrong one. It is called a Squier Master Series, it is discontinued but is easy to find.

And you could get a thing called a Stacked Humbucker, it is two single coils right next to each other so it is a humbucker. No routing needed
