I would like some advice on getting an amp, as my knowledge of amps is not that big.
At the moment i have a marshall MG30DFX, which im finiding hard to get a good tone out of.
I have the choise of getting the VOX 30VT or a Peavey Transtube Bandit 112.

the music i play varies alot. i like to play stuff from Velvet revolver, aerosmith to arch enemy.

Just wondering on what thoughts you had.

Thx

Budget? Ive seen the Vox going for £100 and the peavey for £120

Live? Not right now.

Used, yes or no? Yes they are both used.

If that's your max budget, you could probably save up and get a used classic 30, fantastic amp for the price you can get used.
Wait.

The Vox Valvetronix is a great amp. I wouldn't recommend it for Arch Enemy, but certainly for bands with slightly less gain and saturation. It is capable of high-gain, but the Roland Cube sounds better than the Vox within that genre.
