Is there anyway I could run a PA without speakers, or have the speakers be silent? I want to use an in ear moniter system with my PA and have it be the only source of sound, with no sound from the speakers. But I've read that it would blow if I ran it without any speakers at all, so how could I make them silent without affecting the in ear moniters volume at all?

Uhm, if you have a mixer just turn down the send volume on the speakers to 0, or unplug them. Most mixers have FX send, Mono Send, Tape Send, Headphone send, etc. Just turn off the ones you don't use. I never have speakers attatched to my mixers (Just phones or 1 send) and I've never blown anything.

Would I still need the power amp to run just the moniters?
