What kind of stuff in nature can I light a match on (tree, moss, rock) and how if there is a special way? Thanks

none, provided it's a safety match.
You're using UG classic, congratulations.

This. Safety matches are designed to light only from the strip on the box.

ya the "strike anywhere" label on the box always confuses me too

These nouns are often used with a form of "to be" rather than "to have," e.g., "he is pwnage" rather than "he has pwnage". Either is a more emphatic way of expressing the simpler "he pwns,"

certain matches are made to be lit anywhere. you have to buy them to be able to light them on anything other than the strip.

It depends on the type of match. 'Strike anywheres' can usually be lit on fine grain, porous surfaces, like a rock, bricks, and if you're lucky, concrete.

traditional matches can be light of anything as long as they are slightly rough, if you want you can light it with you thumb. safety matches can only be lit on the strikers on the side of the box as 2 chemicals mix and cause the flame whlst on the traditional ones they have both chemicals on the head and just need some friction to get them going

What, do you make matches from scratch or something?
