I have this old Ventura V-20 Made in Japan serial number 840241 and its not in all that great shape. Course, it plays better than my Takamine G series, and has amazing low action. Its a bit beat up, the white siding is comeing off on one side, and the real question I have is how to glue part of the spruce top back to the side of the guitar, since its loose?

Can I just use Gurilla glue or something, or do I need a more natural kind of glue?

Also, does any have any information on this guitar?

Thanks-Ethan

I vote hide glue, but David Collins is the man with the answer. Be patient and recheck the thread til he responds. Good luck.

^ Thanks, I actually just went ahead and used carpenters glue. But I restrung it with some D'Addrio EXP 80/20 bronze strings and recorded some riffs down. It sounds almost as good as a Martian or a Talyor.

But I would still like to know some information on the guitar.

1. It sounds absolutely amazing!
2. Your playing is awesome
3. I love those parts at two and a half minutes and four and a half
4. Here's what a quick search gave me; I know nothing about the accuracy but it sounds legit, i guess
