I have a Rollins 7 string guitar, and it's great, only that there is some unusual plastic coating on the outside that one one part, is chipping off. It looks really bad and I would like to know, is there any way to make this look less obvious?

It may be a plastic protective layer, which you can pull off. If not, then I honestly do not know. And I second pics.
