im getting really confused. and if it is pre slotted, if i radius it will i need to re slot it?
#2
The if you try to change the radius on a nut,
you'll have to cut the nut slots to match the new radius.

Most nuts specify the radius they're cut for.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

the tools cost way too damn much money bro. or i would.

It depends on what guitar your looking to fix. The standard preslotted gibson style nut is 12" radius. If your looking for a fender all the preslotted ones seem to be for the smaller radius. Not sure why as there are plenty of 12" radius strats out there, just dont seem to be any preslotted ones for this radius.
