Hey, guys. I'm looking for some guitar solos that really show the emotion that the player is putting into it. I really love emotional guitar, so I'm looking for some new songs to listen to. It can be a simple guitar solo or a whole song. Any suggestions?

And so I'm contributing, I'll put some of my personal favorites:

Guns N' Roses: This I Love (Solo starts at 2:33)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wNYFjVTOP8&feature=related

Funkadelic: Maggot Brain(I was amazed when I first heard this song)

Buckethead- Sail on Soothsayer

Chinese Democracy is a great album, people need to get over Slash.

Proud fan of Pop, Rap, Rock, and Metal.

A song with emotional guitar solo's?

David Gilmour.

EDIT: Serious answer time. (Though, David Gilmore is amazing)

Santana - Smooth

Pink Floyd - Time, Money, Dogs, Fat Old Sun, etc etc etc

Smashing Pumpkins - Silverfuck (I think I remember it having quite the solo, I haven't listened to it in a while though)

MGMT - Of Birds Moons and Monsters, Hot Love Drama

Foo Fighters - Stranger Things Have Happened

Stone Temple Pilots - Kitchenware and Candybars, Big Empty

Knockin' On Heaven's Door - G'N'R.

It's David GilmOUR - not O-R-E. And the solos on the Californication and By the Way albums by John Frusciante are all slow, really feeling-filled solos.

...even though I was talking about the Gilmour from Pink Floyd, not the jazz guitarist.

Metallica - To live is to die

I must win, that solo was dedicated to Cliff Burton

Pantera's song Floods, obviously David Gilmour's stuff, and the small solo in the beginning of One. The first part of Cliff Burton's solo from Kill 'Em All also has that emotional sound but its on a bass.
