if youve ever seen him in concert before, ask him if he remembers you.

i saw everclear saturday. after the show the singer was signing autographs. when it was my turn i told him "yeah i saw you guys about a year ago when you played at the casino. i waved to you and hollered yalls name. i was about 20 rows back..do you..do you remember me?"

when ihe realized i was messing with him, he was just like "oh YOU were the guy waving. yeah yeah, i remember". he lol'd, i lol'd. it was fun.

i'd try to meet U2.

Meh i,ve seen bono a couple of times talked to Larry a few times, cant say their anything special.

Ask Him Well i don't know what, just ask him something useful,
Something about his pedals would go down well, like something maybe the world as such doesn't know about.
Or just what got him to it, mention that you play bass and go from their.
Yamaha TRB1006
Fender MIA jazz bass
Hora Hybrid double bass
Hartke lh 500
Ev 606L
Epiphone les paul

he is the bassist of muse

i would ask him about b sides, and if how he feels about bass after so many years of playing.

i saw them in north carolina! amazing show from both muse and u2

Gear shots? Isn't most of his gear backstage and he just has a huge multi-selector or something? (Something like that, I don't know the correct words to use). Something of that sort is what his "gear" is on Muse wiki ..

Ask him why his guitar is missing two strings?

In all seriousness maybe ask him whats the secret to his tone?

Talking gear with him would be fun for the both of you perhaps. Don't forget to try your luck at snagging one of two pieces of his equipment.

Take a few photos as well.

Well I didnt get the backstage passes, but I was still in the front row none the less, there was nobody closer to the stage than me in the whole stadium. Here's some pics I took on my camera phone, not the best quality but my friends had his camera and he'll get me the pics soon, and he go some great shots.

At one point in the concert Matt thanked U2 for having them, and then I got quiet for a sec and I yelled, "Matt, I'm here for you!" and Chris looked and me and smiled

and by the way, U2 was unbelievable, Bono knows how to put one hell of a show

Chris came on stage with his Status Graphite S2 for Uprising and he also used it on Unnatural Selection. He used his red Jazz Bass for Super massive black hole and Starlight. On Map of the Problematique he used his Ric 4003. He pulled out his Chrome 51 Precision for Undisclosed Desires. Cant remember the others, but over all a wonderful show

I am utterly and childishly jealous. And that show sounded awesome.
